Well it was a heck of a week.......
First I am still grieving for the loss of Russell from Galu. Who can live in Samoa if they get rained on for so long? Whoever picked this destination should be sent to Dubai and dried out.
I don't know which was worse where the weather was concerned. At least in Samoa no one got eliminated but Mika and Caanan wouldn't go for all that water so their trip ended for them.
Here in the real world of mine it has been raining too during the day and as it turns colder at night , we wake up to a white covered landscape in the morning. Then the rain takes the snow away and we do a repeat! Snow is pretty in December but not in October! I think the weatherman has joined the Pot club or something even stronger......
Since I also watch DWTS I am hoping they give Louis 2 magical feet so he doesn't go home tonight. I predict though it will be Michael and Louis. How I will miss them..........Still hoping it will be Melissa and Aaron.Stranger thing have happened.....right?

Well I did it again.....picked the wrong person from the wrong tribe so to set matters straight ......it was Yazmin from Galu who was booted last week, not Monica!
Also wanted to mention that I was waiting for the 3rd disaster to strike and it did, when my computer hit the skids.....so I hope that is it for awhile.
Last nights episode was a wet one. Wow 48 hrs and raining when we left them. Foa Foa is dwindling down fast and we finally said goodbye to Ashley, who they had wanted from day 1.For once Russell didn't create too much havoc, except for threatening Liz because she said he had the idol. Her days are numbered now.....
Im now off to Paris to see what the others are doing. Seems it was raining there too, so taking my umbrella this time. Y'all have a good week-end ya hear?~~~

This blog is Real, real reality.
My desktop computer died!!! on Thanksgiving weekend, no less.
A family member who came for the weekend decided to be generous and added some extra memory to the DT. Some hours later, I was in the middle of a game and it hung. Soooo I re-booted and Wow! Up came pop-up city. "Your system is corrupted" (blah, blah, blah).
Needless to say during the next 2 days my visitor hardly left the desk trying to get it up and running. This between travelling to other relatives for dinners was a real head banger! By Monday we gave up the ghost and he set up my Laptop to do the job in place of the tower. Well, that was another pita as the laptop runs Vista and the DT had XP2.
I would have gone out and bought a new tower when this first happened BUT some lovely Microsoft folks had manufacturers pre-loading vista on every damn computer on the market.Vista is a very dirty word in my language and Im sorry to use it repeatedly but thats the "way it is". (bet the guys who designed it are now working in the mail room).
I was not able to get my Outlook Express back so I lost a lot of info from the folders in there and probably a lot of other files I haven't looked for yet. I'm still trying to learn how Vista has screwed things up. And after everyone had gone to their respective homes, we ran into another brick wall, trying to set up "Remote Assistance", so he could work on it from his home base.
When Wednesday arrived.........we finally got a connection! By this time, I had pretty near wore out the MSN button. So when we get our heads clear and the nightmares stopped, we will attempt to go on, after a much needed break. Got my mail re-routed through Thunderbird (God Bless 'em) so didn't have to change identity addy, but it was a toughie getting the file with the list of addies! Still seems like I'm not getting the e-mail I used to get in a day, but them's the breaks I guess.
As for the trip around the world.....I missed the flight to Cambodia so will have to re-book to catch up with the others. In Samoa, Galu finally lost a resident, but who knew Monica? I didn't. They are so busy showing Foa Foa and RussellH that I hadn't had a chance to know who's who on that tribe! Being "outside the geographical area" I can't even get to see past episodes.
So for all this I give Thanks? Sorry.....thats on hold!

Well this past week has turned out much better than last~ I got my refund.......put supersnatch in its place and found my old passport....what more could I ask for?
I don't have too much of an opinion on The trip around the world except to say I didn't care for my stop in Tokyo......is this where everyone in the world lives? Crowds, crowds, crowds and the swamps in Vietnam were no picnic either!
Back in Samoa they are leaving slow but surely. Good thing they were out before the tsunami hit or we wouldn't have anyone left. Thank goodness Ben is gone, gone gone......but I won't be happy until that braggart Russell H. is outta there. Probably by then they will have merged and everyone will pay the price. If the Galu tribe has any indication that they have an idol in their camp too, why isn't anyone looking for it? Oh I forgot...they are doing Yoga instead. Bunch of yahoos.
Life here in the real world is getting colder and wetter by the day and it won't surprise me to wake up to a white landscape soon.Winter, here is not my favorite time of the year. If you plan to go out you need to get up much earlier because you have to put on so much extra clothing, such as boots, coat, muffler, gloves etc. Then if it snowed beforehand you have to either get out the snow blower or a shovel....it all takes time.......
I think I just answered the question of why I watch reality shows in tropical places.......take me away Calgon!
